Parisian rain

After all, nothing strange..it’s raining even today!
You have to know that in Paris goes like this almost every day, every month, every year between october and march.
People in Paris think it’s all normal, so I guess if the problem is that I’m Italian... Anyway, don’t panic, ‘cause papierdoreille always finds the way to turn up the sun!! :-)

A girl can do many things to fight the growing desire to jump on a plane directed to Naples (running immediately to her favourite pizzeria “Da Michele”, of course, where tasting the sun with the real and one ontological dimension of pizza, not to say anything about the used Agerola mozzarella or San Marzano tomatoes :-)).
Between the many solutions to contrast a rainy day, you can pump up the colour (see my Contrasts of colours/1 and Contrasts of colours/2 posts), get loud with the music or...

Enjoy creating, with a great cup of the best, most luxurious hot chocolate you can find in the nearbies (and for this you have undoubtedly come to my home, and I would like to specify that it’s not a self-referred statement ‘cause it’s not me preparing it, but the best chef in the world )!!!

It was in these precise condition, last winter, that I created the long necklace I post here today. It’s a very simple kind, but, as any other papierdoreille creation, it’s precious because it holds in itself a small piece of life gone by.

The structure is a drop pendant decorated with ultra-small jade green crystal drops. The chain is formed by two identical thin chains and for that it’s adjustable in different lengths.

It’s a Parisian rain drop inspired by a Parisian rain afternoon.. not bad to sublimate une très humide condition, don’t you agree?
