Back to black (and gold, and minimal)

Un sole di sbieco illumina il giardino.
La casa è straniata nel silenzio;
probabilmente sono usciti tutti
.
Pier Paolo Pasolini, Teorema

After the last two posts’ colour saturation, today we come back to simplicity and minimal design
The next “creatures” come from a necessity of extreme pureness. I wanted to create something hyper-simple and minimal, easily mixable to other types of jewellery, so I started sketching using two colours-non-colours: black and gold, that is, dark and warm light.

The first model is a doubled-thin chain long earring, simply decorated by a small filigree bead.

The second one is more elaborated: its structure is based on a thin metal circle, on which a golden wire twirls locking small black rocaille beads. In the middle of the circle a little pendant-chain with two black beads is attached, conferring to the whole composition another touch of delicate light.

Thanks to the essential design and the pureness of their shape this two chic and useful models can be worn both day long and for evening occasions, even combined with other bijoux.

To be delicately adorned by them you need just to click here :-)
