Contrasts of colours/1: Bicolour necklaces

Once upon a time..
The following three “creatures” are born in urgency of colour.
It was last winter, and -I don’t know if you are aware of it- Parisian rain normally almost never stops between November and March..
Sooo, I needed something flashy to keep the soul up, and there we are..!

The starting point is that of colour saturation: turquoise, acid yellow and jade green in contrast with a dark oxidised iron.
For the first model, a unique piece, I used a plane braid chain found out in a popular Parisian marchés aux puces (flea market) in the area of Clignancourt, and I combined it with a thread of medium turquoise coloured stones from the same mercerie.
The second necklace is built with a braid of small acid yellow Murano glass paste beads and a large-ring chain with alternated elements. In the middle the chain hosts a sequence of light grey fumés strass.
The last “creature”, another unique piece, is conceived with a structure similar to the second. Instead of the braid of beads I’ve used an alternated combination of jade green/opalescent white crystals and long glass paste dusty blue beads.

Waiting for the sun, here you are some free spots of colour.
Enjoy!
